Meet our Construction Consultants, Design Build Associates, Inc. 


As you all know from recent updates on the Exterior Renovation, over the past several months, the Board and the ERC (Exterior Renovation Committee) has investigated and interviewed numerous construction consulting companies to assist us with the detailed planning and management of our upcoming renovation.  The Board unanimously selected Design Build Associates, Inc. to oversee this important project.   Design Build Associates was chosen based on their 22-plus year history of successfully assisting homeowner associations through repairs just like ours.


The Board has directed Design Build Associates to review all of the work products developed over the last few years and to look at various components of our existing buildings so they can make proper recommendations for the work going forward.  It is our desire, as well as that of Design Build, to keep all homeowners informed as this process moves forward.  Therefore, we have requested Design Build make a presentation to the entire Association to introduce themselves and to discuss the process of managing our project.  As Design Build is new to the specifics of our project and many of the details of the renovation are yet to be confirmed, they will not be in a position to address many preliminary questions regarding VPV.  What we are asking them to share with you is their professional experience base and their role in managing our project to a successful conclusion.  


This Meet and Greet introductory session will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 330 Palos Verdes Blvd., immediately followed by a condensed version of the regular monthly Board meeting.  We encourage your participation and hope that you will take the time to come and meet Design Build Associates and listen as they introduce their company to the membership and talk about the steps we will be going through during our renovation.
