What’s
Happening Around Town:
Increase Exercise/Increase the years in your
life: Book: Live Longer by Joe Treen
Studies show that
dripping faucets and leaking toilets account for as much as 14% of all indoor
water use, equivalent to 10 gallons (38 liters) per person of water lost per
day.
If
you are not a do-it-your-selfer: call a plumber. As stated in Carma’s recent letter, we have been requested to
reduce consumption by 10%.
Your
help in conserving water is greatly appreciated.

SLOW DOWN
You have been served. The speed limit through the complex is 5
MPH. Just think of 180 homeowners coming,
going, and walking through the complex every day. Please use the street and enter the ramp closest to your unit to
help reduce the noise, traffic and more importantly to keep it safe for the other 180+ homeowners,
particularly their children, grandchildren and pets.

Two board
seats will be up for election in October.
Homeowners are encouraged to consider running for office. Or, consider volunteering for a committee. The
ER Finance Committee needs volunteers to help identify the various methods of
financing available for the upcoming Exterior Renovation. Contact Joanne Pena if you have questions,
or need additional information.

Guest
Parking…
So far, nothing has
worked to keep GUEST parking GUEST PARKING. As a result, the Board is exploring a towing
policy to resolve the mounting number of complaints they are receiving from
residents. This will result is a lot
of frustration for homeowner’s and their guests (if you know anyone that lives in a complex where towing has
become necessary the stories are not from “Chicken Soup for the Soul!”
Use your Garage or the street.
Don’t make tow trucks another sound we have to hear throughout the day
and evenings.
